9 months!

Mia was 9 months old last Thursday. Here are some photos of her that we took to mark the occasion:

Learn and Groove

Mia still enjoys her Learn and Groove toy alot. We got it for her about 4 months ago when I was finding it hard because Mia wanted to stand up all the time and my arms couldn't cope with holding her all day. She likes sitting in it still, but she also really likes standing and holding onto it. Mia isn't really showing much interest in crawling, she gets very annoyed if she's ever on her front, but is always happy if she's standing up. And recently she's been experimenting by letting go of whatever she's holding onto, she doesn't manage to stay upright for long but she's definitely testing the water!

Aren't they getting big

We had a lovely gathering of our NCT gang at Kat's this week. All the little ones are getting so big now and are starting to interact with each other more, even if it's just to grab a toy off one of the others. They all have their own skills and ways of doing things. And they made a good mess with the baby friendly banana cake that I made!

Tongue

Mia always has her tongue stuck out. She sometimes does it directly to people but she also often does it when she's concentrating on something like the pictures below. I wonder if this is something that she will carry on doing as she grows up!
